Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to give a status update as to where MonsterCandyApples.com stands. As you know I have purchased the company and am currently trying to get everything up and running. Like I said in my last post I plan to have everything working by mid October.

I have been busy getting all the infrastructure in place so that once we are operational everything should work smoothly. I have made many modifications to the shopping cart system and have many big plans to enhance the website, if you have any suggestions, please relay them to me. You can post a comment here or feel free to contact us directly.

If you think there is a flavor of apple that you would like us to carry let us know, if there is some other product you think would fit well with our existing product line, let us know.

I am very excited to be able to offer such wonderful treats to you our customers and hope that you will enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them.

From time to time I will post articles of interest to the blog, these could be apple recipes, new products, apple trivia or pretty much anything apple related. Keep a look out for the “blog specials” we will have from time to time, only our blog readers will know about them. Also we plan to hold contests for free giveaways, the winners will always be announced here on our blog.

Hello.  My name is Phil McDonnell and I am the proud new owner of MonsterCandyApples.com.  As many of you realize, this website was offered for sale around April of this year.  I saw the site and just couldn’t pass up such a wonderful opportunity.

I am very excited to pick up where the previous owners left off.
Like the previous owners, I will be running this business as a family affair.  My great grandmother owned and operated her own candy store in Pennsylvania.  I have wonderful memories of that store from when I was a just a young child. The store is still standing today even though it had been shuttered many years ago.

My family’s hope is for MonsterCandyApples.com to become the premier candy apple supplier on the Internet.  We have a great backend system that handles all the mundane tasks of ordering and shipping for us.  This allows us to focus on what we love: making delicious candy apples for you, our customers.

If you have any ideas or comments, please feel free to send them our way.  We love hearing from you and are always on the lookout for new ideas.  Most of the ideas that we will be adding here have come from previous customers just like you.

I want to assure all of the current customers that I will personally uphold the quality and service that you have become accustomed to with the previous owners.  If you are not completely satisfied with anything we offer, please don’t hesitate to contact us so that we can work out a way to fix things and make it right!

We are currently in the process of ramping up production and should be operating by mid October 2008 if not sooner. Please keep and eye on the blog as we will announce the “Grand Opening” as well as some specials we have in store for all of you.
