We are looking for ideas for our March Apple of the Month.

You can pick one of our existing apples or you can describe a new apple that we should create just for the Month of March.

Remember GREEN is the theme for March as it is the month of St. Patrick.

There is no cost to enter and all you have to do is leave a comment and tell us what you think the March Apple of the Month should be.

The winner will be picked on February 28th, 2010 and will be notified here so please leave a real email address if posting to the blog or we will contact you directly if posting on Facebook or Twitter. If you reply on Twitter please be sure to use the #monstercandyapples hash in your reply.

The winner will receive a 3 pack of our apples in their choice of flavors. Only one winner will be chosen and it will be decided by us on what we feel is best suited for a March Themed Apple.

Monster Candy Apples is pleased to announce our first ever photo contest.

What do you have to do?

Simple, just take a picture with any of our delicious treats and send it to us.

That’s right, we want you to take a picture of yourself, your friends, your family, or anyone else that enjoys our delicious treats. Your submission can be simple or elaborate, lighthearted or serious, a group photo or a solo shot – be creative! The only requirement is that you capture one of our delicious treats in the photo. Then email your photo to us by November 15, 2009 to be eligible for a $25 gift coupon and recognition on our blog and Facebook Page.

Very Simple Rules:

• Send your best shots, as many as you want, as JPEG attachments to support@monstercandyapples.com. Within the body of the e-mail, please be sure to include your name, location and the names of the people in the photo.
• You may also include a title and background information about your photo. If you have a special story that you would like to share, we’d like to hear it. However, please limit descriptions and background info to roughly 300 words.
• To give you plenty of time to submit your photo, entries will be due by midnight on November 15, 2009.
• There will only be one winner in this contest.
• We will post the winning photo online by Thanksgiving Day.
• This contest is open to anyone in the United States. Contestants must be at least 13 years of age to enter. If you are under 13 please have a parent, guardian or teacher submit your entry for you. By submitting your photos, you are granting us permission to use them in our publications (our blog, Facebook Page, Twitter Feed, etc.) and on our website. If your photos are used, you will be given full credit.

Hello Everyone,

Since we will be re-opening soon, we thought it would be nice to add more products to our line up. We are looking for your ideas to use for new products, we need ideas for a new type of apple to carry.

Have you ever thought of something you would like to see on a candy apple? Now is your chance, post it here and let us know.

Some ideas that we have heard from our customers already:

• Heath Bar Apple – Caramel apple rolled in bits of a Heath bar.
• Capt’n Crunch Apple – Caramel apple rolled in Capt’n Crunch.
• Gummi Worm Apple – Caramel apple draped in Gummi Worms.

Of course there are many more, but this is just to give you an idea of what we are looking for.

If we choose to use your flavor idea we will notifiy you by email and send you one of the apples with your flavor choice for free.

Happy October Everyone!

I just wanted to update all of you on the status of Monster Candy Apples, we are still very busy getting everything ready for our grand re-opening. Hopefully everything will still be on target for the middle of October to be fully operational.

A new feature we are adding to Monster Candy Apples is a monthly contest. How would you like to win a FREE candy or caramel apple? Well now you can, it’s FREE, it’s easy, and the winner receives the current apple of the month as their prize.

Rules are simple, all you have to do is register for an account, that’s it! Simple enough no?

Once a month on the 1st, we randomly select a winner from all of our registered customers and then notify the winner along with posting the winner here on the blog.

Just a note, you only have to register once. All registered customers will be eligible and automatically entered into the contest monthly.
