Due to the inclement weather in the North East and across the country is causing our shipper FedEx to have service disruptions.

FedEx Express National Service Disruption for Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010

The Memphis hub and flight operations experienced substantial disruptions last night due to inclement weather conditions.  Consistent with the provisions of the FedEx Service Guide, the money-back guarantee is suspended for U.S. packages and shipments inbound into the U.S. from international locations with a delivery commitment of Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010.

Continue to check the status of your shipments on fedex.com for service updates.  You can also contact FedEx Customer Service at 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339 or stay up to date by subscribing to service disruption e-mail notifications at the FedEx E-Mail Subscription Center.

All our orders have shipped up to February 9th, 2010. All our orders for today February 10th, 2010 are being processed in house normally but we are unsure of the status that FedEx will have later this afternoon. We will update this notice later today when we find out if FedEx will be shipping our orders today.

Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to make you aware of our new shipping policy.

As of today we will only be shipping on the following days:

• Monday
• Tuesday
• Wednesday

If your order contains a Red Candy Apple it can only be shipped on Monday or Wednesday, all other orders can be shipped Monday through Wednesday.

We are doing this to make shipping easier for us and to deliver the freshest apples possible to you. We cook Red Candy every Monday and Wednesday so you can be sure your apple will be fresh when you place your order.

All other caramel apples are made fresh daily and are cooked to order, we are a small shop and as such we don’t have apples sitting around. Your caramel apple is made usually the day your order ships so that you can get the freshest apple possible.

I will be updating the shipping page shortly, you will notice that the cart already has the updated shipping table for the Red Candy Apples.

I am also working on getting FedEx Ground shipping implemented so that the shipping costs can be lowered for customers that are geographically located near us and can benefit from the Ground service.

Stay tuned for more information on the Ground service implementation.

The last day to order from us in order for your package to arrive by December 24th is Tuesday December 23rd and must be shipped Overnight. All other shipping methods will not arrive in time for Christmas delivery, and we will not be responsible if you selected the wrong shipping.

We will be closed December 24 – 28 and no shipping will take place during these days. Our site will still take orders and all orders will be filled on the 29th when we return.

For New Year’s shipping, the last day will be Tuesday December 30th and must be shipped Overnight. All other shipping methods will not arrive in time for New Year’s delivery, and we will not be responsible if you selected the wrong shipping.

We will be closed December 31 – January 4 and no shipping will take place during these days. Our site will still take orders and all orders will be filled on January 5, 2009 when we return.
